Petra Kaksonen is a Vancouver-based designer with over 20 years of experience in graphic design and art direction, working with clients across North America and Europe. Her work is rooted in the simplicity and functionality of Nordic design, expressed through colourful, minimalist patterns.

Raised in Finland, Petra’s love for bold stripes and polka dots began early—shaped by a fashion-forward grandmother and a childhood surrounded by textiles. Today, her creative inspiration is deeply tied to nature, drawn from lakes, forests, and summers spent at her cabin in Eastern Finland, a place she describes as her happy, creative home.
