Riot Board

Inspired by the plywood boards that covered broken storefront windows following the 2011 Stanley Cup riot, Riot Board reflects a moment when Vancouverites came together to clean the city and leave messages of care, protest, and love. The Museum of Vancouver received 86 of these boards, preserving a powerful snapshot of collective civic response.
