Over Oceans - Coastal Shift

Over Oceans began as an abstract painting exploring two divided masses coming together, later reimagined as a critically acclaimed collection of functional, everyday rugs. Textural, colourful, and soulful, each piece reflects the idea of crossing a seemingly impossible expanse of water, bringing softness and warmth into the home.

Drawn from the original painting, the collection’s five rugs offer both micro and macro views of water’s vastness. Together, the designs tell Zoë Pawlak’s story of the ocean—as a shifting body that carries us, holds us, and reflects light.
